AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas will host nine FIFA World Cup 2026 matches — including the knockout rounds. If you're planning to be here, this is everything you need to know.
The Match Schedule
Arlington's matches begin on June 14, 2026. AT&T Stadium — officially the largest domed stadium in the world — will host group stage matches and at least one knockout round game. The stadium holds up to 100,000 fans for major events, making it one of the most spectacular FIFA venues of the entire tournament.
High-demand matches featuring Argentina, England, and Brazil are expected to draw the largest crowds. Check the official FIFA website for the full fixture list as dates are confirmed.
Getting Tickets
Official tickets are sold exclusively through FIFA's ticketing portal at tickets.fifa.com. Phase 1 and Phase 2 ticket sales are already closed — remaining inventory is available through the official resale program or authorized secondary market sellers.
Expect face value for group stage matches to range from $150–$600 depending on category. Knockout round tickets carry significant premiums on the secondary market.
Getting to the Stadium
Arlington has limited public transit infrastructure — this is Texas, and the city is built around driving. Your options:
- ▸Walk (best option): If you're staying at Châteaux Privé, you walk. About 10 minutes — no traffic, no parking. This is the single biggest logistical advantage of staying in the Entertainment District.
- ▸Rideshare: Uber and Lyft will be in full operation during match days. Expect surge pricing close to kickoff and after the final whistle. Drop-off zones will be designated — confirm with your driver in advance.
- ▸Drive & Park: AT&T Stadium has extensive parking but lots fill hours before kickoff on major match days. Expect $40–$80+ for stadium-adjacent lots. Pre-purchase parking through Ticketmaster or ParkWhiz.
- ▸Trinity Metro: Trinity Metro's TEXRail connects DFW Airport to Fort Worth — limited utility for Arlington, but useful if you're arriving from the north.
Where to Eat Before & After
The Entertainment District comes alive on match days. Texas Live! — steps from the stadium — hosts official fan experiences, live music, and multiple bars. Lines form early; arrive at least 90 minutes before kickoff if you want a table.
For a better meal and fewer crowds, head to Hurtado BBQ (award-winning brisket, worth the early arrival), Cut & Bourbon for a proper sit-down dinner, or stock your suite's kitchen the night before and do it right at home.
Accommodation: Book Now
Hotels near AT&T Stadium are charging $800–$2,000/night on game days. The Loews Arlington — the closest full-service hotel — is largely sold out for match weekends. Many properties are requiring 3–7 night minimum stays.
A private suite in the Entertainment District gives you more space, a full kitchen, private parking, and the ability to walk. If you haven't booked accommodation yet, act now — inventory at this distance from the stadium is essentially gone.
What to Expect: The Atmosphere
World Cup crowds are unlike anything else in American sports. You will hear 40+ languages, see flags from every nation, and experience an emotional intensity that simply doesn't exist at domestic games. Arrive early — the 90 minutes before kickoff are as memorable as the match itself.
The Arlington Entertainment District will be transformed. Fan festivals, branded activations, international food vendors, and street performances will run from the week the tournament begins. Even non-match days in the district will be worth experiencing.
